A24 has acquired the 1984 concert film 'Stop Making Sense' by Talking Heads.

A24 has purchased international rights to Talking Heads frontman David Byrne's 1984 cult classic concert film, Stop Making Sense

 for theatrical release later this year, following his second Oscar nomination for Everything Everywhere All at Once.

A24 will give the Jonathan Demme-directed film (the director's debut concert film) a 4K restoration.

The live performance was recorded over three nights in December 1983 at Hollywood's Pantages Theater and includes some of Talking Heads' most memorable songs such as "Burning Down the House
